The Chariot - By Ciro Marchetti's Divine Tarot
The Chariot is about a third of the way through in The Fool’s journey of the Tarot. In itself it represents a turning point in the learning process. There is a certain air about it that lets us know that we are looking at someone who recognises their personal power, perhaps for the first time. Despite enjoyment of being able to unleash the underlying energy through psychical action The Chariot teaches us that only dealing with the psychical plain will take us on a one-sided journey.
The ability to control the physical requires a certain level of mental control as well. Instead of expanding our energy without a purpose, we have the ability to decide what we invest ourselves in. This is where mental energy merges with our physical and together they bring about a cohesion within ourselves that allows us to take charge of our journey on multiple levels. This in turn brings about a balance in our lives and before we know it we have learned that we can actually use gentle force and skill to direct our path towards our full purpose.
Once we have mastered the course we are taking, we can expect a new challenge to come our way that will re-teach us this lesson but with the skill required both mentally and physically will need to be amplified. This is how growth is achieved. Though this is the 8th card in the traditional deck, the lesson we learn from The Chariot is a continuously repeating one for those who invest themselves in their own spiritual development.
To help achieve harmony through skill and discipline, meditate with this card and imagine that you are the charioteer and you command the two horses before the chariot. Connect with each aspect of yourself through those two horses and take note of the messages you receive from each side and take action if needed.
I am a lady who wears many hats: wife, mother, author, healer, witch, poet, editor, psychic medium and the list goes on. Through this blog I am living true to my Spirit. What you read here you may not agree with, it may not be politically correct, but it comes from the heart and you can be sure that it's absolutely, uncompromisingly and purely me.
